My career has been a culmination of jobs and life experiences that have led me to Horses Guiding Humans. I worked at horse camp for children during my college years. After college, I moved to Puerto Rico and taught English for a year at a school. Years later, I became a ranch manager and respite foster care parent at a Children’s Home in the south which deepened my love of working kids. I later transitioned to the classroom setting again, working with special needs students and volunteering at Little Bit and Sundance Circle Hippotherapy Ranches.
l had a retired racehorse in high school that cemented my love of working with the animals. It was years later that I became aware of the healing powers between a horse and human in my own life. For several years, I worked at a childrens home managing a riding program for the foster kids who lived at the home; again being a witness the depths of horse and human interactions. It was there that I found my niche; my passion for helping people find their footing in life through working with horses and other animals who can affect the human soul.
