Fees
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/ Personal Development incorporates a mental health professional and an equine specialist. Depending on your insurance and availability, as well as availability of providers, our mental health professionals may be able to directly bill your insurance or provide you with a medical receipt, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Medical receipts can be used for in-network and out-of-network providers. We accept all major credit cards but prefer check or cash for the primary clinician assigned.
Insurances accepted include:
- Premera BCBS
- Regence BCBS
- First Choice Health Network (including some Kaiser Permanente plans)
- Tricare
- US Family Health Plan/Tricare
- TriWest
- Aetna
- Cigna
If insurance is billed, it is possible to have a "facility fee" billed separately from the Mental Health services that covers the cost of an equine specialist and the use of the animals.
We are grateful for the support of multiple grant programs through which the full cost of sessions may be covered for Military members, Veterans, their families, and Pierce County residents who are unable to be covered by insurance or other programs. Please contact us to discuss eligibility and process for these programs.
Our sessions last approximately 55 minutes and the cost is $150.
Our group rate is for 50-55 minutes and is $47. Discount is available for a monthly payment in full.
